The Director General of National Security, Farid Ben Sheikh, presided over the ceremony of installing the new central directors: the Director of Public Security, the Director of General Intelligence, the Director of General Police and the new President of the Security of Algiers Province, on Thursday at the headquarters of the General Command of National Security.
On the occasion, the Director General of National Security urged the need to double efforts in various fields, in order to achieve qualitative results similar to those achieved this year, which were praised at the national and international levels.
The Director General of National Security also stressed the importance of maintaining the security of citizens and their property, and of combating all forms of crime and insecurity. He also called on the new directors to work closely with the various security services in order to achieve the highest levels of security and safety.
The new directors expressed their commitment to work hard and to contribute to the achievement of the security objectives of the country. They also pledged to work closely with the Director General of National Security and the other security services in order to ensure the safety and security of Algerian citizens.
The ceremony was attended by a number of senior officials from the Ministry of Interior and the General Command of National Security.
