Democrats Release Epstein Correspondence, White House Responds

Washington D.C. – House Democrats have released a series of emails purportedly linking former President Donald Trump to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, sparking a heated response from the White House.

The emails, released by members of the House Oversight Committee, include correspondence between Epstein, author Michael Wolff, and Ghislaine Maxwell, the British socialite currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for sex trafficking-related charges.

According to a statement released by the committee, one email from 2011 allegedly shows Epstein writing to Maxwell, stating that “Donald Trump spent hours at my house with one of the sex trafficking victims.” Another email, this one with Wolff in 2019, reportedly contains Epstein stating that Trump was aware of the girls. DZWatch has not independently verified the authenticity of these emails.

The White House has vehemently denied the allegations, accusing House Democrats of deliberately releasing the emails to damage Trump’s reputation. Representatives for the former President have yet to respond.

Trump has consistently denied any knowledge of Epstein’s sexual abuse activities. Epstein, who was found dead in his jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, had been a long-time acquaintance of Trump’s. Trump has acknowledged their past friendship, stating that they had a falling out years before Epstein’s crimes became public.

While Trump attended social events with Epstein in the 1990s and early 2000s, he has denied any wrongdoing. Epstein’s death fueled numerous conspiracy theories suggesting he was silenced to prevent the exposure of compromising information about prominent figures.
