Organized under the patronage of Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, this year’s conference is themed “Supporting the Emergence of African Champions.” The theme reflects a collective ambition to build a strong and interconnected African ecosystem based on innovation.
The conference, to be held at the Abdellatif Rahal International Conference Center, will feature a ministerial summit bringing together more than 40 ministers from various African nations. Officials and representatives from international organizations, entrepreneurs, and investors in the technology sector will also attend. The goal is to facilitate the exchange of experiences and to develop ambitious policies that promote cooperation in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Minister Ould Ali highlighted that the Republic of Rwanda will be the guest of honor at this edition, in recognition of its significant progress in digital innovation. He emphasized Algeria’s desire to expand partnerships with African countries in the areas of entrepreneurship and technology.
The Minister also praised the creation of the Startup and Young Innovator Financing Fund in Africa, an initiative launched by the President of the Republic.
