Algeria Hosts Inaugural ‘Electricity Expo 2025’

Algiers is set to host the first edition of the International Electricity and Renewable Energy Exhibition, ‘Electricity Expo 2025,’ from November 17th to 19th. The event underscores Algeria’s commitment to accelerating its energy transition.

Approximately 40 exhibitors representing various sectors of the energy industry will participate in the expo, which will take place at the ‘Casbah’ pavilion in the Exhibition Palace. The event is organized under the supervision of the Algerian Fairs Company (a subsidiary of SAFEX Group) in collaboration with ‘MS Pub’ agency.

Sonelgaz Group, a major player in sustainable energy development, will be a key partner, showcasing its expertise and innovative projects in electricity and gas. The Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energies, along with the Algerian Association of Electrical Industries, will also participate.

Discussions during the event will focus on crucial topics, including:

  • Digitalization in the energy sector
  • Modernizing the electricity and gas systems
  • The role of digital transformation in enhancing energy services

Specialized workshops will explore digital solutions for energy systems. The expo aims to foster partnerships and innovation, creating a platform for professionals and decision-makers to exchange knowledge and collaborate. It seeks to strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors, contributing to the realization of the national energy transition.

The ‘Electricity Expo 2025’ is envisioned as a professional platform for stakeholders and experts in electricity and renewable energy.
