MC Alger, a professional Algerian football club, has unveiled its new logo for the 2023/2024 season.
The new logo retains the basic design of the old logo, but with some new elements added. The most notable new element is a circle with a vintage football inside, which is meant to represent the club’s history and tradition. There is also a castle above the football, which represents the city of Algiers, where the club is based. A sailing ship is also included at the bottom of the logo, which represents the club’s ambition to reach new heights.
The new logo was designed by the amateur club, which owns the rights to the logo. The amateur club had previously applied to the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) for permission to change the logo, and the application was approved.
The new logo will be used by the club on all of its official merchandise and branding.
