Director Applications Open for National Youth Training Institutes

Algiers – The Ministry of Youth is advancing its plan to enhance the training system through a new selection process for directors of the National Institutes for Higher Training of Youth Cadres in Constantine and Ouargla. This initiative aims to strengthen national competencies and improve governance within training institutions.

The ministry announced the opening of applications on September 18, 2025, inviting qualified personnel from the sector and competent national candidates. Strict criteria were established to ensure fair competition, emphasizing academic experience, leadership skills, and digital proficiency.

The Central Administrative Committee received applications starting September 28th and began reviewing them based on rigorous standards to verify compliance with legal and professional requirements. On November 11th, the process moved to the interview stage, overseen by a specialized technical committee. Candidates were assessed through examinations covering scientific, managerial, and pedagogical aspects, with a focus on leadership and innovation in managing training institutions.

Following this phase, a ranked list of the most deserving candidates was compiled. Seven candidates are scheduled for final interviews on Sunday, November 16, 2025, supervised by the Minister of Youth responsible for the Supreme Youth Council, before the official announcement of the appointments.

Observers note that this process reflects a clear commitment to transparency in appointments and support for competent individuals capable of leading a new phase in the development of training institutes. These institutes are considered fundamental in modernizing the youth sector.
