International Handicrafts Fair Concludes in Algiers

Algiers – The 26th edition of the International Handicrafts Fair concluded today in Algiers, under the patronage of the Minister of Tourism and Traditional Industry, Mrs. Houria Meddahi.

The closing ceremony, held in the capital, marked the end of a successful event that showcased the rich heritage, authenticity, and artistic creativity of Algerian traditional crafts. The fair, themed “Algerian Traditional Industry: Heritage, Authenticity, and Artistic Creation,” drew participants from across the country and internationally.

Mrs. Meddahi highlighted the importance of the handicrafts sector in promoting Algerian culture and contributing to the national economy. She emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting artisans and preserving traditional skills for future generations.
