Algiers – The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, today honored Mokhtar Bouazza, the creator of the ‘Gardens of Babylon’ project, at a ceremony held at the Ministry headquarters. Bouazza recently received the prestigious award for Best Youth Initiative in Mediterranean Entrepreneurship, at a competition held in Palermo, Italy.
The ceremony was attended by the official in charge of managing the University of Mascara and the director of the business incubator at the same university. Minister Baddari commended the outstanding efforts of the young Algerian in developing his project. He emphasized the Ministry’s full support for youth-led entrepreneurial initiatives that contribute to fostering innovation and bolstering the national economy.
The ‘Gardens of Babylon’ project is recognized for its innovative approach and potential impact on sustainable development. The Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to empowering young entrepreneurs and providing them with the necessary resources to succeed.
