Algiers – The Ministry of Education has refuted claims circulating on social media regarding the integration of municipal workers into the education sector. The denial follows the widespread sharing of a document, purportedly from the Directorate of Education in El Bayadh province, which sparked controversy concerning the status of vocational workers in primary schools.
The Directorate of Education for El Bayadh issued an official statement through its secretariat, firmly denying the assertions made on Facebook pages. These pages disseminated a document presented as an official communication to school principals, allegedly aimed at enumerating vocational workers affiliated with municipal services within primary schools.
The Directorate clarified that the circulating document had been taken out of context. It accused certain parties of misleading the public by claiming the communication contained promises to transfer workers from one entity to another. The Ministry emphasized that using the document to promote such information is baseless and founded on misinterpretations.
The Directorate of Education in El Bayadh unequivocally refuted these allegations and disavowed any unofficial use of the aforementioned communication. They have reserved the right to take administrative and legal action against any leaks of official local documents. The Directorate considers the publication of these documents outside their intended framework and their use to disseminate false information among the public a serious matter.
The Ministry urged citizens to verify information and obtain it from official, accredited sources. DZWatch remains committed to providing accurate and verified news to its readers.
