Algiers, November 17, 2025 – Algeria stands as a steadfast and reliable partner in building a unified and integrated future for the African continent. This affirmation was made today in Algiers by the Speaker of the People’s National Assembly, Ibrahim Boughali.
Speaking earlier today, Mr. Boughali emphasized that Algeria, under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, has consistently demonstrated its commitment to African unity through unwavering stances and impactful development initiatives. He stated that Algeria is fully committed to leveraging its capabilities and infrastructure to serve the shared African integration project.
“Algeria has consistently proven its dedication to fostering cooperation and progress across the continent,” Mr. Boughali noted. “Our commitment extends beyond mere rhetoric; it is reflected in concrete actions and investments aimed at strengthening intra-African ties and promoting sustainable development.”
The Speaker highlighted Algeria’s proactive role in supporting various African Union initiatives and its dedication to resolving conflicts peacefully through dialogue and diplomacy.
