National Skills Olympics 2025 Opens in Oran

Oran, Algeria – The inaugural National Skills Olympics 2025 officially commenced in Oran on Monday, November 17, 2025, under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Mr. Sid Sifi Ghrib. The Prime Minister’s presence at the opening ceremony, held at the Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex, was on behalf of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The national event, running from November 17th to 21st, will showcase the talents of 550 competitors hailing from various regions across the country. These individuals qualified through local and regional competitions, earning their place in this prestigious national gathering.

The National Skills Olympics 2025 aims to:

  • Promote professional and technical skills among young people.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and craftsmanship.
  • Strengthen vocational training and its connection to the labor market.
  • Encourage national talent to compete in diverse professional fields.
