Algiers, Algeria – The Ministry of Interior, Local Authorities, and National Planning has announced the date for the highly anticipated Hajj lottery draw for the 1447 AH/2026 season. This announcement concerns Algerian citizens who have registered to participate in the pilgrimage selection process through their respective municipalities.
According to an official statement released earlier today, the draw will take place on Saturday, November 22, 2025. This draw will determine the final list of pilgrims who will be granted the opportunity to perform the sacred Hajj rituals, the fifth pillar of Islam, in the upcoming season.
The lottery will be conducted at the municipal headquarters or any suitable venue chosen by local authorities to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of the process. The Ministry has urged all registered applicants to attend and follow the proceedings of the draw at the designated locations.
