Algiers – The Ministry of Communication is preparing to present the National Strategy for the Development of Institutional Communication to the government in the coming days, Minister of Communication Zohir Bouamama announced today in Algiers.
The strategy aims to modernize and enhance the effectiveness of communication practices across various state institutions. The initiative reflects a commitment to greater transparency and improved public engagement.
“This strategy is a crucial step towards ensuring that government bodies are able to effectively communicate their policies, programs, and achievements to the public,” Minister Bouamama stated during a press briefing. He emphasized the importance of clear, concise, and accessible information in building public trust and fostering a more informed citizenry.
The proposed strategy outlines a series of measures designed to strengthen communication skills within government departments, promote the use of modern communication technologies, and establish clear channels for public feedback. It also addresses the need for enhanced coordination between different government entities to ensure a unified and consistent message.
According to sources within the Ministry, the strategy incorporates best practices from international communication models, adapted to the specific context of Algeria. It also takes into account the evolving media landscape and the increasing importance of digital platforms in disseminating information.
The government’s review of the strategy is expected to be thorough, with input from various ministries and stakeholders. Once approved, the National Strategy for the Development of Institutional Communication will serve as a roadmap for improving communication practices across the public sector, ultimately contributing to a more responsive and accountable government.
