Algiers – Algerian international striker Amine Gouiri has reassured fans regarding his health status, confirming that his recovery is progressing well at the renowned Aspetar sports medicine center.
The Olympique Marseille forward addressed concerns about his injury, stating that thorough examinations were conducted to determine the nature of the issue before a surgical intervention was deemed necessary.
“I underwent the necessary medical examinations to accurately identify the type of injury, and the most suitable option was surgery,” Gouiri explained.
The Algerian national team player emphasized that injuries are an unavoidable part of a footballer’s career, highlighting the importance of patience and resilience in overcoming such challenges. “These things are normal in a football player’s life, and you have to deal with them patiently and strongly,” he said.
Regarding his rehabilitation, Gouiri affirmed that his work at Aspetar is proceeding excellently with the support of the medical staff. “Everything is going very well here. I am working well with the physiotherapist and the physical trainer, and there is continuous improvement in my condition.”
Gouiri also praised the optimal conditions provided by the world-class Qatari sports medicine and rehabilitation center, expressing his satisfaction with the environment. “Aspetar has a global reputation, and all the facilities are available to recover quickly. I am very happy to be here.”
