Oran, Algeria – Prime Minister Sifi Grib, representing President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, arrived in Oran today to preside over the opening ceremony of the first-ever National Skills Olympics. The event is being held at the Miloud Hadefi Olympic Complex.
According to a statement released by the Prime Minister’s office, the National Skills Olympics is being held under the high patronage of President Tebboune and will run from November 17th to November 21st.
This inaugural edition will see the participation of 550 competitors from across Algeria. These individuals qualified for the national stage after successfully navigating local and regional competitions.
The National Skills Olympics aims to promote vocational training and highlight the importance of skilled trades in Algeria’s economic development. The event offers a platform for young professionals to showcase their talents and compete in a variety of disciplines.
