Batna, Algeria – Authorities have issued an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in identifying and apprehending a suspect involved in a series of online fraud and scams. The individual is currently under investigation by judicial authorities.
Acting under Article 26 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and authorized by the Public Prosecutor of Batna Court, the Cybercrime Unit has apprehended a suspect identified as (R.M.). The suspect is allegedly linked to fraudulent activities involving electronic means, specifically using the postal account CCP 23988418 – CLE 28.
DZWatch has learned that security services are working to identify all victims and determine the full extent of the suspect’s criminal activities. The Batna Security Services are urging anyone who has had dealings with the suspect, whether as a witness or a victim, to come forward.
Citizens are requested to contact the Cybercrime Unit of the Batna Judicial Police, the Public Prosecutor of Batna Court, or the nearest police station across the country to file a complaint or provide any information that may assist the investigation. Authorities emphasize that public cooperation is crucial to accelerating the investigation and uncovering all aspects of this case.
