DZWatch Exclusive: A remarkable statistic has emerged regarding Algerian international midfielder, Adam Zerrouki. The 25-year-old has been highlighted for an impressive undefeated streak while representing the Algerian national team, Les Fennecs.

According to data compiled by sports statistics website, Transfermarkt, Zerrouki is among a select group of international players who have yet to experience a defeat while playing for their country. The list, shared on Transfermarkt’s Instagram account, features ten players from across the globe.

Since his debut for Algeria under the leadership of former coach Djamel Belmadi, Zerrouki has remained unbeaten. The prestigious list includes five current and former Spanish internationals, alongside Leander Dendoncker of Belgium, Stefan Kuntz of Germany, Mehdi Ghayedi of Iran, and Eric Di Meco of France.

Zerrouki has participated in 22 international matches for Algeria. His journey began on September 2, 2021, in a World Cup qualifier against Djibouti, and extends to the recent friendly against Saudi Arabia. During these matches, Algeria secured 18 victories and 4 draws, maintaining an unblemished record.

While Zerrouki has contributed one goal and two assists during his international career, he did not register any goals or assists in the recent friendly matches against Zimbabwe and Saudi Arabia, where he appeared as a substitute.
