Heavy Thunderstorms Forecast Across Several Algerian Provinces

Algiers, Algeria – The National Meteorological Office has issued a special weather alert, indicating a high probability of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms across several provinces in Algeria. The alert, categorized as Level 1 (Yellow), signals citizens to be aware and prepared for potentially hazardous weather conditions.

The affected regions primarily include provinces in the eastern and central parts of the country, which are currently experiencing unstable weather patterns. The meteorological bulletin specifically mentions the following provinces as being at risk of varying intensities of rainfall: Souk Ahras, Guelma, Constantine, Mila, Oum El Bouaghi, Batna, Bordj Bou Arreridj, Bouira, Medea, Blida, Algiers, and Tipaza.
