In a recent plenary session at the National People’s Assembly (APN) focused on presenting and debating the 2023 supplementary budget law, Mr. Boughali emphasized that “the measures and provisions taken by the President of the Republic during the last Council of Ministers meeting, held last Sunday, are aimed at safeguarding public funds without compromising citizens’ livelihoods, protecting purchasing power, and regulating and rationalizing the import process.”

The President of the APN also commended “the invaluable directions provided by the President of the Republic to support farmers, given the climatic conditions and the consequences of drought, which necessitated government intervention.”

Regarding recent warnings from the Ministry of National Education about some individuals not adhering to the curriculum set by the ministry, Mr. Boughali expressed support for “any measures that enforce strict compliance with the applicable laws and the necessity of adhering to the Ministry of National Education’s curriculum, regardless of the reasons for deviation.”

Mr. Boughali underscored, in this regard, that “no one is above the law in Algeria,” and he added that any attempt to operate outside the legal framework would ultimately fail. He also stated his support for “any measures aimed at standardizing programs and pedagogical methods in both the public and private sectors.”

Furthermore, he mentioned that the APN welcomed the acceptance by the Nigerien government of Algerian mediation “to crystallize a political resolution to the crisis in that country, paving the way for peaceful solutions based on President Abdelmadjid Tebboune’s initiative, inspired by Algeria’s unwavering principles in resolving crises through peaceful means.”
