Algiers, November 22, 2025 – A delegation representing the Algerian-Tunisian Parliamentary Friendship Group from the National People’s Assembly will begin an official visit to Tunisia this Sunday, according to a statement released by the Assembly on Saturday.
The visit, led by Mr. Mohamed El Hadi Tebessi, the group’s president, is scheduled to take place from November 23rd to November 26th. The primary goal of this trip is to further strengthen the ties between the two nations.
The statement also highlighted a previous visit to Algeria by a Tunisian parliamentary delegation in early October. This delegation, representing the Tunisia-Algeria Friendship Group within the Tunisian People’s Assembly, focused on parliamentary cooperation with Arab nations.
That earlier visit served as a valuable opportunity to enhance the bonds of brotherhood and parliamentary cooperation between the two sister countries. The current visit by the Algerian delegation is expected to build upon the progress made and foster even closer collaboration on matters of mutual interest.
The discussions are expected to cover a wide range of topics, including economic cooperation, security matters, and cultural exchange programs. Both sides are keen to explore new avenues for collaboration and strengthen the already strong relationship between Algeria and Tunisia. The visit underscores the commitment of both nations to maintaining close ties and working together to address regional challenges.
