Algerian Researcher Achieves Perfect Score at Spanish University

An Algerian researcher, Murad Ahmidi, has achieved a remarkable academic accomplishment by earning a perfect score (10/10) from the University of Zaragoza in Spain. This distinction follows the successful defense of his thesis, titled: “A Cross-Sectional Study of the Impact of Competition Level on Quality of Life and Sleep Quality in Adolescent Football Players: A Comparison with Inactive and Non-Competitive Athletes.”

The study explored the relationship between competitive athletic activity in adolescents and their daily quality of life. Specifically, it examined the impact of competitive sports on sleep quality, comparing athletes to two other groups: those who are physically inactive and those who participate in sports non-competitively.

Ahmidi’s research employed a rigorous cross-sectional methodology. This allowed for a detailed analysis of the health and psychological differences between the three groups. The findings highlighted the positive role of organized competitive sports in improving the physical and mental well-being of young athletes.

This achievement is a testament to the researcher’s exceptional abilities and scientific competence. It also reflects the high academic standards of Algerian research that is now making its mark in European universities. It is a source of pride for Algeria, demonstrating the talent and dedication of its scholars on the international stage. The success of researchers like Ahmidi further encourages investment in higher education and scientific research within Algeria.

The results from this study could also inform sports programs, helping to promote healthy lifestyles among youth. Further research can build upon these findings, potentially leading to better strategies for athlete development and well-being.
