Massive Drug Bust: 13,500 Hallucinogenic Pills Seized in Bir El Ater

Bir El Ater, Algeria – In a significant operation targeting drug trafficking, customs officials in Bir El Ater, in coordination with the National Gendarmerie, have seized a large quantity of hallucinogenic pills.

According to a statement released by the General Directorate of Customs, the mobile unit of the Customs Division in Bir El Ater intercepted 13,500 pills of the Pregabalin 300mg type. The operation took place in the El Ogla Malha area, thanks to coordinated efforts with members of the National Gendarmerie.

The successful operation also resulted in the seizure of a motorcycle, which was allegedly used as a means of transport in the smuggling operation.
