Biskra, Algeria – A devastating road accident in Biskra province claimed the lives of three people and left four others injured early Sunday morning. The collision occurred on National Route 46 near the entrance to the livestock market in the municipality of Foughala.
Civil Protection services reported receiving an emergency call at approximately 3:47 AM. Upon arrival at the scene, rescue workers encountered a grim scene of destruction resulting from a high-impact collision between two vehicles.
The accident resulted in the immediate deaths of three men, aged 36, and 73. Their bodies were transported to the morgue.
Four young men, ranging in age from 19 to 26, sustained various injuries. Emergency medical personnel provided initial treatment at the site before transferring the injured to a local hospital for further care.
Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the tragic accident. This incident underscores the critical importance of road safety and adherence to traffic regulations.
