Algiers, [Current Date] – In a move set to benefit vocational training students across the nation, a new agreement will grant them access to university transportation services. The landmark deal was formalized today in Algiers.
The agreement was jointly signed by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Kamal Baddari, and the Minister of Vocational Training and Education, Nassima Arhab. The signing ceremony marks a significant step towards greater collaboration between the higher education and vocational training sectors.
Under the terms of the agreement, trainees enrolled in vocational training programs will now be eligible to utilize the mybus university transportation network. This service, previously exclusive to university students, will provide a crucial transportation option for vocational trainees, facilitating their access to training centers and workshops.
“This agreement reflects our commitment to ensuring equitable access to resources for all students, regardless of their chosen educational path,” stated Minister Baddari during the signing ceremony. “By extending university transport services to vocational trainees, we are removing a significant barrier to their education and empowering them to succeed.”
Minister Arhab echoed these sentiments, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in supporting the development of a skilled workforce. “This partnership will directly benefit thousands of trainees across the country,” she said. “Improved access to transportation will undoubtedly enhance their learning experience and contribute to the overall quality of vocational training programs.”
The implementation of the agreement is expected to begin immediately, with details regarding registration and access to mybus services to be announced by the relevant authorities in the coming days. The move has been widely welcomed by student and trainee representatives, who have long advocated for greater integration between the higher education and vocational training systems.
