Judges and Justice Sector Employees to Receive Extensive Training

Algiers, October 26, 2025 – The Ministry of Justice announced today the commencement of comprehensive training programs for judges and justice sector employees. These programs, which began today and will continue until October 30th, are designed to update knowledge and keep participants abreast of the latest legislative and regulatory developments.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, twenty-five judges will participate in an intensive training course focusing on the practical aspects of judicial investigation. This specialized training will be held at the Higher School of Magistracy. The program aims to enhance the judges’ understanding of investigative procedures and equip them with the necessary skills to conduct thorough and effective inquiries.

Furthermore, in a demonstration of international cooperation, two judges will attend the Sino-African Forum on Prosecution, scheduled to take place in Guangzhou, China, from October 27th to 30th. This participation underscores Algeria’s commitment to engaging with international partners and sharing best practices in the field of law.

In collaboration with the Embassy of the United States of America in Algiers, ten judges and ten senior officials will undergo English language training as part of the ‘Link Project 6’ initiative. This program aims to improve communication skills and facilitate greater interaction with international legal communities.

In addition to the training for judicial personnel, twenty-six employees from various judicial bodies will participate in a training course on administrative and judicial writing. This course, organized in coordination with the National School for Registry Secretaries, will focus on improving clarity, accuracy, and efficiency in official documentation. Fifteen employees from the central administration will also attend a training course in financial management, specifically focusing on budgetary management of investment expenditures, at the Higher School of Commerce. These initiatives highlight the Ministry’s commitment to professional development across all levels of the justice system.
