Santiago, Chile – The sixth session of Algerian-Chilean political consultations concluded today in Santiago, marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
The consultations were co-chaired by Mr. Lounès Magramane, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, in charge of African Affairs, representing Algeria, and Ms. Gloria de la Fuente, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, representing the Republic of Chile.
The discussions focused on a wide range of issues of mutual interest, including political cooperation, economic partnerships, and cultural exchange programs. Both sides expressed their commitment to further developing these areas, recognizing the potential for increased collaboration across various sectors.
Emphasis was placed on identifying new opportunities for trade and investment, with both delegations exploring avenues to facilitate greater economic interaction between Algerian and Chilean businesses.
