Minister Adjjal Chairs Meeting on Information Systems Modernization

Algiers – Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies, Mourad Adjjal, presided over a high-level meeting today in Algiers focused on the current state of information systems within the Ministry and its affiliated departments. The meeting’s primary objective was to develop a comprehensive roadmap for upgrading these systems and bolstering their security infrastructure.

According to a statement released by the Ministry, the discussions centered around identifying key areas for improvement in the Ministry’s digital infrastructure. This includes assessing the performance of existing systems, evaluating cybersecurity vulnerabilities, and exploring opportunities for integrating new technologies to enhance efficiency and data protection.

“The modernization of our information systems is crucial for ensuring the Ministry’s operational effectiveness and safeguarding sensitive data,” stated Minister Adjjal during the meeting. He emphasized the importance of adopting a proactive approach to cybersecurity and investing in training programs to enhance the skills of personnel responsible for managing and maintaining these systems.
