Msila, Algeria – Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Youssef Belmahdi, presided over the inauguration of a new Quranic school at the Al-Nasr Grand Mosque in Msila today, Saturday, November 29, 2025.
The inauguration ceremony marks a significant step in promoting religious education and fostering a deeper understanding of the Quranic teachings within the community. The Al-Nasr Grand Mosque, a prominent landmark in the capital city of Msila, will now serve as a center for both worship and comprehensive Quranic studies.
Minister Belmahdi emphasized the importance of such institutions in shaping the moral and spiritual values of young people. He stated that the Quranic school will provide a nurturing environment for students to learn the Quran, understand its meanings, and apply its principles in their daily lives. “The establishment of this Quranic school reflects the government’s commitment to supporting religious education and promoting Islamic values,” said Minister Belmahdi during the inauguration address.
