Algiers – In a public address delivered in El Oued province on Saturday, Secretary-General of the National Democratic Rally (RND) party, Moundhir Boudene, emphasized the critical need for national dialogue and unity to forge a prosperous future for Algeria.
Boudene asserted that national dialogue is the path that we must all embrace, without exclusion or narrow calculations, so that together we can chart the course for the future Algeria we dream of. He passionately called for a consensus on a national and societal project that unites all sincere wills to build a strong, just, and cohesive Algeria.
Highlighting the urgency of the situation, Boudene stated: Today, more than ever, we need a unified voice, a common will, and a collective awareness that the strength of the nation begins with the unity of its people. He underscored the importance of fostering a sense of national identity and shared purpose among all Algerians.
Furthermore, Boudene cautioned against spreading negativity, emphasizing that Algerians need positive energy and the expansive hope that fueled Algeria’s development in the 1970s and 1980s. He urged citizens to draw inspiration from the nation’s past achievements and to channel that spirit into building a brighter future.
The RND Secretary-General also addressed the role of social media, advocating for its responsible use to promote positive values and constructive criticism. He acknowledged that while government initiatives are not always perfect, it is crucial to identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively to correct course. We do not say that all government paths are 100 percent correct, but there is something to be corrected and criticized, Boudene stated.
Boudene’s call for national unity and constructive dialogue resonates at a critical juncture for Algeria, as the nation seeks to navigate complex challenges and build a more prosperous and equitable future for all its citizens.
