Algeria and China are exploring avenues to bolster security cooperation following a meeting held this Saturday between the Director General of National Security, Ali Badaoui, and Wang Lixing, Director General of the Security Cooperation Department of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The meeting took place at the headquarters of the General Directorate of National Security during Ms. Wang’s working visit to Algeria.
According to a statement released by the National Security services, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Algeria, Dong Guangli, also attended the meeting. The gathering served as a significant opportunity to discuss prospects for enhanced security collaboration between the two nations.
Discussions centered on strengthening partnership mechanisms and developing areas of joint cooperation between the police forces of both countries. A key focus was placed on the exchange of expertise and experiences across various domains of policing.
