Algerie Poste has issued a renewed warning to its customers regarding fraudulent attempts to obtain personal and confidential information related to their Gold or Classic cards.
In an official statement, the postal service emphasized that it never requests sensitive data such as PIN codes or One-Time Passwords (OTPs) through applications, text messages, or phone calls. Any such request, Algerie Poste clarified, should be considered a phishing attempt designed to steal customer accounts and access their funds.
Algerie Poste urges all customers to immediately report any individual or entity claiming to represent the organization and attempting to collect sensitive information. Reports should be made through official communication channels.
The institution stressed the importance of vigilance and caution, advising customers not to interact with any suspicious messages or calls. This is crucial to maintaining the security of postal transactions and protecting customer accounts from hacking and fraud attempts.
Customers are reminded to be extra careful and to protect their personal financial information to avoid being victims of scams.
