Ministry Issues Instructions to Regularize Deputy Bursars’ Status

Algiers – The Ministry of Vocational Training and Education has issued directives aimed at regularizing the professional status of Deputy Bursars within the vocational training sector. The instructions, conveyed through an official correspondence, target Deputy Bursars and Principal Deputy Bursars currently serving in vocational training institutions who have obtained relevant qualifications while in service.

The directive, issued by the Human Resources Department and addressed to regional vocational training directorates, references correspondence from the Directorate General of Public Service and Administrative Reform. This prior approval paves the way for the implementation of the ministerial instructions.

The initiative seeks to address the status of employees in the aforementioned roles, allowing for their potential promotion to higher ranks. A key condition for this regularization is the successful completion of required specialized training, adhering to established regulations.

The Ministry has set a deadline for the submission of relevant documentation. Sector directors are required to complete and submit a specified form, along with the files of eligible personnel, by November 30, 2025. Required documents include copies of appointment and confirmation decrees, as well as copies of qualifications obtained post-employment.

To ensure the smooth execution of this process, each regional directorate has been instructed to establish a dedicated unit to oversee the regularization efforts. The Ministry emphasizes the importance of accurate information and adherence to the stipulated deadlines, highlighting the commitment to completing this process efficiently and effectively.
