Boudene: Algeria Confidently Stepping Towards Promising Future

Algiers – In a statement released today, Secretary-General of the National Democratic Rally (RND), Moundhir Boudene, asserted that Algeria is confidently progressing towards a promising future. His remarks coincided with the 71st anniversary of the outbreak of the glorious War of Liberation.

Boudene emphasized that the commemoration is not merely a historical pause to recall past glories, but rather a renewed commitment to steadfastly follow in the footsteps of ancestors in building the nation, safeguarding its sovereignty, and strengthening national unity.

“Algeria today, under the leadership of President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, is moving confidently towards a promising future, continuing the path of construction, development, and reform, for a strong, safe, and prosperous Algeria, loyal to the sacrifices of its people,” Boudene stated.

He added that the RND, inspired by the spirit of the revolution and the symbolism of November, reaffirms its unwavering commitment to actively contribute to the national process, defend the values of the Republic, strengthen state institutions, and consolidate a culture of work, diligence, and dedication, in service of our dear homeland and its proud people.

“Today, we celebrate the seventy-first anniversary of the outbreak of our glorious liberation revolution, that great revolution that resounded in the skies of freedom and dignity, illuminated the path of peoples aspiring to independence, and created an immortal epic in which the Algerian people recorded the most wonderful images of sacrifice and redemption,” Boudene noted.

He further stated, “On this day in 1954, the spark of freedom was ignited with unwavering faith and determination, led by men who were true to their covenant with God, and were a school in patriotism and pride, offering their souls as a sacrifice for a free and independent Algeria. All greetings and reverence to the pure souls of the martyrs, and all prayers for mercy and forgiveness for our heroic Mujahideen, living and dead.”

This anniversary serves as a powerful reminder of Algeria’s enduring commitment to its founding principles and its aspirations for continued progress and prosperity.
