President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has underscored the significance of the upcoming African Conference on Startups, scheduled to be held in Algeria this December. The President emphasized the conference’s role as a vital link connecting African nations to the global economy.
During a Council of Ministers meeting held on Sunday, President Tebboune addressed the progress of preparations and the anticipated outcomes of the conference. He affirmed the event’s importance, stating that it represents a crucial artery for connecting African countries with the wider world.
“The focus on a startup economy, based on an African-African partnership, is the most successful model for building a strong and diversified economy, with science as its foundation and Algeria as its incubator,” President Tebboune noted.
The President also stressed the need to strengthen African youth connections for the benefit of African nations, steering clear of all forms of exploitation. This initiative, he said, would foster collaboration and innovation across the continent.
