Finance Minister Presents 2026 Budget to Parliament

ALGIERS – Finance Minister Abdelkrim Boualzerd presented the proposed 2026 Finance Law to members of the Council of the Nation (Majlis al-Umma) on Monday.

The presentation took place during a public session chaired by Council President Azzouz Nasseri. Several government officials were also in attendance.

Minister Boualzerd outlined the key provisions of the draft law, which is expected to shape the nation’s economic policy for the upcoming fiscal year. The proposed budget addresses a range of critical areas, including public spending, revenue generation, and economic growth initiatives.
