Global Solidarity Rallies for Palestine: Worldwide Support Against Israeli Aggression

The recent events surrounding support for Palestine and solidarity with Gaza have garnered widespread attention across the Arab and global communities. Arab and international cities have witnessed various demonstrations and rallies in favor of Palestine and in response to the ongoing Israeli aggression against Gaza.

In Iraq, a massive rally was held in Baghdad’s Tahrir Square after Friday prayers, showing support for Palestinian resistance and condemnation of Israeli occupation crimes. Egypt also saw numerous demonstrations and gatherings in Alexandria and around Al-Azhar University in support of Gaza and condemnation of Israeli aggression.

In Algeria

hundreds of worshipers in different regions expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people and raised slogans condemning Israeli attacks on innocent civilians in Gaza. They also voiced their support for Palestinian resistance.

Similarly, Morocco

witnessed live scenes of rallies in cities like Tangier, expressing support for Gaza and the “Tawfan al-Aqsa” operation launched by Palestinian resistance against the Israeli occupation.

Libya and Tunisia displayed their solidarity by sharing images and videos of marches in Tripoli and Misrata in Libya, as well as demonstrations in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, in support of Gaza and against Israeli aggression.

Jordan, in response to the Israeli attacks on Gaza following “Tawfan al-Aqsa,” saw protests and demonstrations. Thousands of Jordanians also flocked to the borders in anger over Israel’s shelling of Gaza and the tragic deaths of nearly 1,900 Palestinian civilians.

Lebanese local platforms shared live scenes of protests in several areas and cities, supporting Gaza and condemning Israeli occupation crimes.

Qatar witnessed a massive rally in Doha, condemning Israeli aggression on Gaza and all occupied Palestinian territories. Participants decried the systematic destruction and targeting of civilians in Gaza and the displacement of Palestinians.

In Kuwait, scores of people, including current and former ministers, participated in protests, expressing their support for Gaza and condemning Israel’s ongoing aggression against the strip.

In Oman

demonstrations and marches took place in support of the “Tawfan al-Aqsa” operation and in solidarity with Gaza. They also condemned Israeli attacks on Palestinians.

In Bahrain

local media outlets and organizations shared images from a solidarity march in the capital, Manama, protesting against the Israeli aggression on Gaza and rejecting normalization with Israel.

Thousands of Mauritanians gathered in front of the United Nations office in the capital, Nouakchott, expressing solidarity with the Palestinian people and condemning Israel’s continuous bombardment of Gaza over the past seven days.

In Yemen

several cities, including Taiz, Marib, Hadramout, and Saada, witnessed gatherings and marches in support of the Palestinian people and their resistance in Gaza.

Turkey and Iran

joined the solidarity efforts, with Turkish associations posting videos of rallies in Istanbul in support of Gaza and condemning Israeli occupation crimes. In Tehran, Iranians gathered in the streets to show their solidarity with Gaza and opposition to Israeli aggression.

In France, the Palestinian flag and supportive signs were raised in a demonstration that traversed the streets of Paris. This event was organized as part of a day of protests announced by labor unions. Some protesters were detained by French police for displaying pro-Palestine slogans.

In the eastern French city of Strasbourg, hundreds of activists and members of Arab and Islamic communities demonstrated in rejection of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.

Support for Gaza also extended to cities around the world, with solidarity gatherings in Malaga, Spain, and Copenhagen, Denmark. In Rome, Italy, dozens gathered to denounce Israeli attacks on Palestinians, chanting “Free Palestine.”

In South Africa

hundreds protested against the Israeli aggression on Gaza and rejected calls for displacement by the Israeli government. Demonstrators chanted “Freedom for Palestine” and displayed banners reading “Save Gaza,” alongside the Palestinian flag.

In New York

a rally took place at Times Square in support of the resistance and condemnation of the overwhelming Israeli aggression. Participants held Palestinian flags and chanted various slogans in solidarity with Palestine.

In Kuala Lumpur

Malaysia, demonstrators showed support for Gaza and the “Tawfan al-Aqsa” operation, raising Palestinian flags and expressing their opposition to Israeli attacks.

In Tokyo Japan

dozens of people gathered near the Israeli embassy, carrying Palestinian flags and chanting slogans in favor of Palestinian liberation and support for resistance. They also displayed signs that read “Boycott Israel” and “Save Gaza.”

These solidarity gatherings and demonstrations have come in response to a call by Palestinian resistance groups for a “Friday of Mobilization” in support of the rights of Palestinians to confront Israeli aggression, coinciding with the continuation of the “Tawfan al-Aqsa” operation, launched by Palestinian resistance factions in response to Israeli attacks on the Palestinian people and their sacred sites.
