Algeria’s Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of African Affairs, Salma Bekhta Mansouri, received the Deputy Minister of International Cooperation and Economic Integration of the Republic of Liberia, Dr. Ibrahim El-Bakri El-Niei, on Tuesday. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 12th High-Level Seminar on Peace and Security in Africa, known as the “Oran Process,” according to a statement released by the Algerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The discussions provided an opportunity to review the current state of cooperative relations between Algeria and Liberia and to explore avenues for further development. Both parties also exchanged views on pressing African issues.
Emphasis was placed on the need for continued coordination regarding matters on the agenda of the United Nations Security Council, the statement noted.
This meeting underscores Algeria’s commitment to strengthening ties with African nations and actively engaging in discussions aimed at fostering peace, security, and economic development across the continent.
