Algiers, December 3, 2025 – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune affirmed Algeria’s commitment to bolstering its partnership with Belarus across several key sectors following discussions held today with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
In a joint statement to the press, President Tebboune highlighted the comprehensive evaluation of bilateral relations conducted during the meeting. He stated that the talks facilitated an in-depth assessment of the progress made in collaborative efforts and outlined a roadmap for multi-sectoral cooperation extending into 2026-2027.
President Tebboune revealed that both nations agreed to actively promote partnerships and investments within the agricultural, health, animal health, mechanical industries, pharmaceutical, energy, and scientific research sectors. He emphasized the mutual benefit derived from strengthening these areas of collaboration.
“I am highly satisfied with the signing of cooperation agreements that place the partnership between our two countries on a promising path within the framework of sustainable institutions,” President Tebboune stated, underscoring the significance of the agreements in fostering long-term collaboration.
