Algiers – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune today reiterated Algeria’s unwavering support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian and Sahrawi people. The President reaffirmed the nation’s commitment to finding just and lasting solutions to both conflicts.
President Tebboune emphasized Algeria’s firm stance on the Palestinian issue, advocating for a fair resolution that restores the Palestinian people’s rights and enables the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. He stressed the importance of a two-state solution, based on internationally recognized borders, as the only viable path to lasting peace and stability in the region.
Furthermore, President Tebboune addressed the situation in Western Sahara, underscoring Algeria’s continued support for the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination. He called for a just and peaceful political solution that allows the Sahrawi people to exercise their inalienable right to choose their own future. The President reiterated Algeria’s commitment to upholding international law and supporting the efforts of the United Nations to resolve the conflict.
