Algeria, Iran Explore Enhanced Labor and Social Security Ties

Doha, Qatar – Algeria and Iran have engaged in high-level discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in the fields of labor and social protection. The talks took place on the sidelines of the Second World Social Development Summit in Doha, Qatar, which ran from November 3rd to 7th, 2025.

Algerian Minister of Labor, Employment, and Social Security, Abdelhak Saihi, held bilateral talks with Iranian Presidential Assistant for Social Affairs, Ali Rabiei, to explore avenues for deepening collaboration between the two nations.

According to a statement released by the Algerian Ministry, Minister Saihi provided an overview of Algeria’s social policies designed to benefit various segments of society.
