Algiers, Algeria – The Algiers Declaration on Fair, Secure, and Responsible Digital Platforms in Africa, ratified today in Algiers, underscores the continent’s potential to forge unified positions and significantly influence global digital governance frameworks. This announcement was made by the Minister of Post and Telecommunications, Sid Ali Zerrouki.
Speaking after the ratification ceremony, Minister Zerrouki emphasized the importance of the declaration as a testament to Africa’s growing influence in the international arena. He stated that the declaration represents a collective African vision for a digital landscape that is both inclusive and secure, reflecting the continent’s unique needs and aspirations.
