A weather alert issued this morning warns of significant thunderstorms expected to impact the southern provinces of Adrar, In Salah, and Tamanrasset. The alert is in effect from 6:00 PM today until 6:00 AM tomorrow, Tuesday. Residents in these areas are advised to take necessary precautions and remain indoors if possible.
Additionally, a separate weather advisory cautions of strong winds and heavy sandstorms affecting the provinces of Tamanrasset, In Guezzam, and Bordj Badji Mokhtar. These conditions are expected to persist until midday today, posing potential hazards for travel and outdoor activities. Motorists are urged to exercise extreme caution due to reduced visibility.
