Algiers, December 10, 2025 – Ooredoo Algeria recently partnered with the Regional Labor Inspectorate of Algiers to support a workshop focused on occupational hazard prevention and combating addiction in the workplace.
The workshop, held yesterday in Algiers, was themed: ‘Awareness and Education Workshop on Occupational Hazard Prevention, Occupational Medicine, and Combating Addiction in the Workplace.’ It brought together representatives from public bodies, occupational health experts, and executives from Ooredoo Algeria.
The event featured discussions involving representatives from the Regional Labor Inspectorate of Algiers, the National Social Security Fund, the National Security Directorate, the Justice Sector, and occupational medicine specialists. The workshop aimed to increase awareness among participants regarding occupational hazards linked to addiction in the workplace.
Furthermore, the workshop served as a reminder to employers and employees regarding their legal and regulatory obligations related to safety and prevention. Pedagogical tools designed to promote a sustainable culture of prevention within organizations were also presented.
