President Tebboune’s Meeting Solidifies Political Consensus

Algiers – The head of the New Dawn (El-Fadjr El-Djadid) Party, Tahar Ben Baibeche, lauded his recent meeting with President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, describing it as ‘fruitful’ and indicative of a growing consensus regarding the future of political action in Algeria.

The meeting, held in Algiers on Wednesday, forms part of a series of consultations the President is conducting with leaders of various political formations. Ben Baibeche stated that the discussions encompassed a wide range of national issues, including economic, social, and political matters, as well as legal aspects pertaining to election and party laws.

‘There is a significant convergence of views,’ Ben Baibeche emphasized, ‘regarding the current state of the political landscape and the future role of political parties in strengthening the democratic process.’

The discussions also touched upon ways to implement President Tebboune’s ambitious program, aiming to serve national development and enhance political stability. The importance of political parties in the upcoming period was also highlighted.

Ben Baibeche stressed that each political entity must fully assume its responsibilities on the national stage, working to serve the public interest and foster effective political participation. The meeting, according to Ben Baibeche, solidified a shared vision for Algeria’s political future and underscored the importance of collaboration across the political spectrum.
