Tlemcen, Algeria – The Ministry of National Education announced today the launch of a new teacher recruitment drive for the year 2025. The initiative aims to fill vacant pedagogical positions identified across various educational institutions nationwide.
According to the Minister, the entire recruitment process will be digitized, from initial registration to final examinations. This move is intended to enhance transparency and ensure equal opportunities for all candidates.
The online registration portal will open on December 16, 2025, and remain accessible for twenty days, providing ample time for prospective applicants to submit their applications following established procedures.
The Ministry of Education has specified the number of positions available for each level:
- Primary School Teacher (First Division): 11,831 positions
- Middle School Teacher (First Division): 18,929 positions
- High School Teacher (First Division): 9,740 positions
Registration and application submission will be conducted exclusively online through the National Office for Examinations and Competitions digital platform. The Ministry has emphasized that all stages of the recruitment process, including candidate ranking, will be managed through the National Education sector’s information system, guaranteeing transparency and integrity throughout the selection procedure. This commitment aims to foster public trust in the fairness and objectivity of the recruitment process.
