Hamas Rejects Separatist Agendas, Affirms Algerian Unity

Algiers – The Movement of Society for Peace (MSP), known as Hamas, has reiterated its firm rejection of all attempts to undermine national unity, strongly condemning what it described as dangerous deviations and desperate maneuvers by the MAK organization, which is classified as a terrorist group.

In an official statement signed by its president, Abdelali Hassani Cherif, the movement affirmed that these calls fall within suspicious schemes aimed at dismantling Algeria and serving hostile foreign agendas with colonial backgrounds and functional projects alien to Algerian society.

The MSP considers the actions of this organization a nihilistic act that is politically, socially, and legally unacceptable. It represents a direct assault on the national social contract that unites all components of the Algerian people. The movement emphasized that any attempt to override the historical and geographical realities that established Algeria’s unity is a futile endeavor destined to fail, and can only be classified as high treason.

The statement stressed that these practices do not reflect the will of the Kabylie region’s inhabitants, who have always been an integral part of the national fabric and a fundamental component in the struggle and construction of the Algerian state. The movement considers exploiting the Amazigh identity in division projects a falsification of history and a betrayal of the sacrifices of martyrs and mujahideen, as the Amazigh identity is a unifying tributary of national identity.

The timing of these movements reveals the functional nature of this organization, considering it a tool in the hands of foreign colonial and Zionist forces seeking to destabilize Algeria and implement hostile plans against the region.

In conclusion, the movement affirmed that national sovereignty and territorial integrity are a red line that is non-negotiable and cannot be subject to blackmail. It called for supporting state institutions in firmly applying the law against instigators of sedition, strengthening national consensus, and fortifying the home front.
