Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Security, Abdelhak Saïhi, chaired an evaluation meeting on Tuesday at the ministry’s headquarters dedicated to monitoring the activities of the National Pension Fund (CNP) and assessing the level of services provided to pensioners.
According to a ministry statement released Wednesday, the Minister listened to a presentation by the Director-General of the CNP on the achievements of the past period, the action plan for 2026, and the challenges and future prospects for improving public service aimed at pensioners and rights holders.
Following the presentation, Minister Saïhi issued strict directives to the CNP executives, including redoubling efforts and improving performance, with a focus on enhancing the efficiency and quality of services. He emphasized ensuring that pensioners receive their full rights within the legal deadlines, considering it a constitutional right that cannot be compromised.
The Minister stressed that improving the quality of services is a collective responsibility aimed at strengthening social stability and ensuring effective and efficient social coverage for all citizens, explaining that digitization is the strategic option to achieve these goals.
The program of practical instructions issued by the Minister included key areas such as: improving the efficiency and quality of services by relying on digitization; ensuring that pensioners receive their rights without delay; addressing citizens’ concerns rigorously and effectively, while taking into account vulnerable groups and ensuring good reception and quality treatment; investing in human resources through quality training programs to improve performance; motivating employees by adopting continuous training as a criterion for promotion; and rationalizing expenditures and improving management methods while simplifying administrative procedures and accelerating digital transformation.
Minister Saïhi also stressed the need to expedite the digitization of all CNP services and adopt a modern and flexible administrative model, including the development of integrated digital platforms to provide services, including the remote submission of pension applications by early 2026, in line with the President of the Republic’s directives to establish a fully integrated digital government. He reiterated the importance of effectively addressing citizens’ concerns and responding quickly to their requests, noting that digitization is the best way to provide modern and transparent services that guarantee the comfort of the pensioner and preserve their rights within the framework of social justice.
The 2026 roadmap and accelerated digitization are expected to drastically improve the CNP’s services.
