The Director-General of the Algerian Agency for Investment Promotion (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, recently met with representatives from EVENTRADE, the organizing company behind Mechanica Algeria, at the agency’s headquarters. The meeting focused on finalizing arrangements for the inaugural edition of the event.

Mechanica Algeria is scheduled to be held from February 9th to 11th, 2026, at the Zenith Hall in Constantine. The exhibition aims to provide a specialized platform for stakeholders and operators active in the mechanical industry, including vehicle manufacturers, automotive suppliers, and spare parts producers, as well as those involved in industrial handling.

The AAPI has expressed its strong support for events like Mechanica Algeria, recognizing their importance to the national economy. The agency views the exhibition as a valuable opportunity to strengthen industrial partnerships, promote Algerian-made products, and increase integration rates across various industrial projects within the country.

Investors and operators interested in participating in Mechanica Algeria to explore potential collaborations and establish new partnerships can register their interest. The AAPI also highlighted its ‘Partnership Exchange’ service, an online platform designed to facilitate discussions and the development of joint investment projects among economic operators, enabling them to explore collaborative opportunities.
