Algerian TV to Broadcast National Team’s Africa Cup Matches

DZWatch Exclusive: The Algerian national broadcaster has secured the rights to air 15 matches of the highly anticipated 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, with a special focus on broadcasting all matches featuring the Algerian national team, Les Verts (The Greens).

According to an official announcement, the public television network has also acquired the rights to broadcast key matches involving other nations, including games between neighboring countries and other prominent clashes expected to draw significant viewership across the continent.

Algeria is set to begin their Africa Cup of Nations campaign next Wednesday, December 24th, with an opening match against Sudan. Following that, they will face Burkina Faso in their second group stage encounter on Sunday, December 28th.

The team, led by coach Petkovic, will conclude their group stage matches against Equatorial Guinea. Expectations are high as the nation rallies behind its team in their quest for continental glory.
