Algiers, December 18, 2025 – President Abdelmadjid Tebboune today presided over the opening ceremony of the 33rd Algerian Production Fair at the Palais des Expositions (Exhibition Palace) in Pins Maritimes, Algiers.
The fair, a key event for the national economy, is being held under the theme “Algeria Builds its Future.” This year’s edition features the participation of over 600 national economic institutions, showcasing the diversity and dynamism of Algerian production across various sectors.
During the inauguration, President Tebboune also officially opened the new exhibition pavilion at the Palais des Expositions, aptly named “Palestine Pavilion” as a sign of solidarity.
The President received a detailed briefing on the new pavilion from the Director-General of the Algerian Company for Fairs and Exports (SAFEX), highlighting its modern facilities and potential to enhance the exhibition experience. The briefing also included an overview of the economic landscape and the performance of economic operators in the goods and services production sectors.
The Algerian Production Fair serves as a vital platform for promoting locally manufactured goods, fostering economic partnerships, and showcasing the progress of Algerian industries. The event is expected to attract a large number of visitors, including business leaders, government officials, and members of the public, providing a significant boost to the national economy.
The President’s presence at the opening ceremony underscores the government’s commitment to supporting local production and diversifying the Algerian economy. This initiative aligns with the national strategy to reduce reliance on imports and promote sustainable economic growth.
